Now this is for those of you who love combinations that include our delicious white cheddar popcorn. One of my favorite cooking ingredients goes back to the basics - salt and pepper. It's great on steak, salads and even blueberry cobbler (don't knock it until you've tried it). The secret is in what salt and which pepper. There are a myriad of choices of either of those spices, and I spent quite a lot of time at the spice shop trying to get the perfect combination. I came across a couple, bought enough of both and then went to the shop.
There is no better time here at JGP than when the doors close and I get to experiment. Like being in chemistry class, trying to get the iterations to come out right. It's the best feeling when you get flavor combinations absolutely right, and the work that goes into that is just pure nirvana.
I spent time crafting this special blend. The white cheddar couldn't be overpowered by the salt and pepper, so it took several batches. Then making sure that it all held up well when it was mixed and stored. The end result is a savory tease for your palate to enjoy at anytime.
